It didn’t take long for Alabama commit Javari Barnett to make his presence felt. On the very first play of the day, Barnett exploded through a hole created by the Titans’ dominant offensive line and broke free for an 80-yard touchdown. That set the tone for a performance where Barnett consistently found running lanes and punished defenses. He wasn’t the only one benefiting from the Titans’ control up front — Isaiah Daniels also capitalized, scoring on his first carry of the day. The Titans’ offense flowed with ease behind the trenches, while their defense looked just as sharp. Defensive back Daunta Peterson made one of the day’s biggest plays on that side of the ball, snagging an interception against Riverview to keep the momentum on Tech’s side.

Over on the Sumner side, Tyler Lynch put on a show with his playmaking ability. The athletic wideout turned heads with a spectacular one-handed grab against Riverview, showing his knack for highlight-reel plays. Quarterback Antonio Balaguer also looked poised, leading the Stingrays’ offense with confident throws and efficient drives throughout the day.

As the preseason action wraps up, all three teams will turn their focus toward next weeks kickoff classic. Tampa Bay Tech travels to face Apopka this Friday in a marquee matchup, Sumner will take on Jesuit, while Riverview will face-off against Pinellas Park.
