Leading the charge is returning senior quarterback ***Rysh Brush***, a USF commit, who has taken on the leadership mantle with confidence. Brush has been vocal, sharp, and seems ready to prove he’s the top quarterback in the area.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Hawks are as tough as ever. Their unit has looked physical and dominant during spring sessions shared Coach Davis!

"The defense is setting the tone for what could be a punishing fall campaign!"

One of the biggest standouts has been ***Jaelen Waters***, a Miami commit, who continues to lock down any receiver lined up across from him. Waters' ability to eliminate a team’s top target has drawn attention from coaches and scouts across the nation

The Hawks' defensive line has also been a force to watch. Quick off the ball and relentless in pursuit, the group is shaping up to be one of the best in the state. Their presence in the trenches gives Armwood a major edge heading into the season.

Offensively, while ***Brush*** leads the way, the team is still looking for new playmakers to step up. With the departure of standout running back ***Girard Pringle***, there’s a big hole to fill in the backfield. Coaches are watching closely to see who rises to the challenge as the team looks to develop fresh talent and establish offensive depth.

As always, expectations are high at "The Wood". With returning stars and new names ready to shine, the Hawks are aiming for another state championship run. ****Fans will get the chance to check out the squad in their Blue and White Game on Tuesday, 5/20/2025, at 6:30 PM.****
